Yellowstone Vein Center offers cosmetic treatment for spider veins. Late in 2010, the FDA approved a drug for spider vein treatment of the lower extremities. The drug is called ASCLERA.
ASCLERA is injected into the spider veins with a small needle. The ASCLERA irritates the interior walls of the injected vein which causes them to constrict and close.
ASCLERA has anesthetic properties, which may make treatment more comfortable for patients.
The results are less visible spider veins and FREEDOM to wear shorts again.
For most patients, results will be evident in one to three treatments. Results may be evaluated within a few days of treatment. Some patients may require additional treatments. Each treatment is $350.
